About the Author

Kevin Snell, literary fiction author, portrait

Kevin Snell writes literary, upmarket, and M/M romance fiction about intimacy, desire, restraint, and the consequences of being seen. His work moves from literary marriage novels and psychological realism to high-heat contemporary romance, dark paranormal bonds, alien worlds, and emotionally intense relationships under pressure.

He is the author of I Loved You in Reverse, The Night Hungers, The Terms of Us, Claimed by the Ninth Orbit, Ice and Gravity, Still Life with Fugue, How We Became Ourselves, and Rain by Midnight.

A former Sergeant in the United States Army’s 82nd Airborne Division, he spent years inside systems built on structure, endurance, and silence. That experience does not announce itself in his fiction, but it is there — in the tension beneath restraint, in characters who understand control, and in the cost of wanting something they cannot easily name.

Across genres, his books return to the same questions: what does it mean to be known, what does love demand, and what remains when performance falls away?

Kevin has lived and traveled across continents. He brings a global perspective to stories anchored in psychological realism, emotional precision, and relationships that change the people inside them.

He is currently based in Medellín, Colombia.
